All you need is a necklace

And some biiig hair!

All you need is a necklace

Just about recovered from the longest day trip yet for a shoot. On Wednesday, I flew from Liverpool at silly o'clock to Belfast. There I hooked up with Regina, ahead of her trip south of the border to team up with Emma Helena for a duo tour in Eire.

Post shoot I crammed a little sightseeing in then headed back to the airport ahead of a 10pm flight home. It was after midnight when I got back to Yorkshire, but it was worth it!

Anyway, whilst I'm busy editing the many looks shot, I thought we'd go back to the archives again today, and feature what was almost an inconsequential set in this third shoot with Mischkah. We'd once again teamed up with Polish Powerhouse of make-up, Dorota.

The photo above shows the legend at work, for an earlier look in the shoot, but we'd retained the hair for the set featured, today.

We'd actually just finished the set featuring the outfit above and Mishckah said, "I've got an idea for some broken jewellery". Trusting that she was onto something, I said let's go for it.

Trust is hugely important, for me, and goes way beyond just making a safe space for a model to be in. It's about generating room for experimentation and failure and hopefully success.

So off we went.
