Bathed in Natural Light
Ukrainian model, Sia, bathed in the German sun shot with a Leica, is a delight to behold.

It's a bank holiday here today in the UK, so I hope you're enjoying your day off if you're here and not having to work too hard if you're not so lucky. Today's post features a Ukrainian model, Sia.
I found her both on Purpleport (the site I use, in the main, for sourcing models) and on Model Kartei. Model Kartei is a Germany/Europe focused equivalent of sites like Purpleport or Model Mayhem.
The shoot took place on the last day of my time in Solingen, in Germany. I'd originally had two shoots planned for the Sunday, but the only model working in exchange for images went silent about 10 days before the shoot. So I simply re-arranged times with Sia so we weren't working into the early evening.
The venue was a fantastic designfabrik that had been painstakingly renovated by artist Sascha Reichert and his family.
