Boldly Unrepentant

I've worked with many, many models over the years. Some more than others, as you make bonds of creative kinship with some more than others. The freelance modelling scene in the UK is largely transactional. Models expect payment in 99% of situations. It's just the way it is. Some though are in it for the art as much as the pay.

One such creative soul is Scarlot. We've now worked together a bunch of times spanning a nine-year period. This shoot, which happened at the end of 2024, was our first together in over 6 years.

Some of my favourite times shooting, involve Scarlot and the madness of the mind of Dorota, the makeup artist.

Anyway to this shoot, and Scarlot and I reconvened at Silkwood Studios, which is the nearest decent sized studio to both of us.

With a catch-up and hugs and all that fancy-schmancy stuff out of the way, we got down to creating.

And create we did - numerous looks across a half-day shoot. it was like we'd never taken a break from shooting.
