Eastern European Chic

Shooting update

A very busy few days ahead. I arrived into Paris on Saturday evening and started shooting yesterday with the hypnotically photogenic Ksenia Lytvynova. I'll be part way through my first shoot of six, today, by the time this post goes live.

Another full day tomorrow as well, then an early Eurostar to Antwerp on Wednesday morning for another couple of days of shooting.

These European trips are just about shoot, eat, sleep. But I love it, and it makes the cost per shoot much more palatable. And as the wife isn't with me, it would feel wrong to be sightseeing without her!

Today's content

And whilst we talk about Euro trips, today's post comes from my recent time in Berlin. And the time I met Sophia Romanova, a Ukrainian émigré in Berlin.

We started with these wide angle (35mm) shots, and then went to 65mm. Sophia had paired this fab textured leather jacket with a pair of her mum's trousers from an earlier decade, giving the look a distinctly Eastern European fashion look from the 80s. Felt like I was shooting Kleo, the assassin!

So many images in this set, which is why the amuse bouche of images are in the preview part of the post.
