Going clubbing
Hitting the high notes with Athena
Shooting update
How are we already in March? And how have I already worked with 36 different models in 2026? Considering I did 44 shoots in 2025, this year is set to break all records.
On Wednesday, it's back to Basford for the third time already this year, for a reunion with Sarah (Artemis Fauna), be interesting to see what we can do on a location, rather than in a studio.

Today though, we're slipping back to the end of January and day 1 of the London/Berlin trip. My second shoot of the day was with agency-signed fashion model Athena.
Whilst I shoot to fine art nude levels, not everyone does. You could of course significantly reduce your pool of collaborators by only shooting with art models. But I'm finding, especially on trips, that variety is great so they tend to be a mix of models who won't countenance nudity with those that embrace it wholeheartedly.
It's a great challenge, both creatively and technically, as it forces you to think about lighting, location, and framing. Add in January weather and an old warehouse style location with constantly shifting light, and the need to work quickly and being adaptable becomes paramount.
I was glad for the newer SL3S on this trip. I was shooting at ISO 100,000 at some points. Modern technology never ceases to amaze me.
