Handle with Care
Risking life and limb, Regina taped herself up...
As we start to hit the end of the year, and with very few shoots lined up for the end of the year, we decided to take ourselves off for a final break of 2025. So as this goes live we're towards the end of a couple of weeks, relaxing in Thailand.
And with downtime comes time to reflect. 2025 has been a great year creatively for me. My first full year of freedom from the 9-5, no limit on holiday time, and no real need to do anything I don't want to.
It's a fabulously privileged position to be in, and one I'm eternally grateful for. And what a year it has made for. To date, I've had 44 shoots this year all across Europe, and I've worked with actors and models, all of whom have been great to work with.
One such shoot saw me head to Belfast for the first time. I detailed the logistics of that trip in the first look from this shoot:

Today's look came towards the end of the shoot and was a risky enterprise as Regina is allergic to formaldehyde, apparently. And news to me, it's a key constituent in many tape adhesives. Every day is a school day!
Quick skin test done, we agreed we'd shoot this look really quickly to prevent any issues for Regina. And so the entire look was done and dusted in about 7 minutes.
