Today's content

Today's post features a very rare for me duo. In fact, it's the only duo I've ever shot...

I worked with Andreea earlier this year in Antwerp:

And when I was planning my Belgium trip for June she reached back out and suggested we have a reunion and that her friend also wished to model.

So I had to put my thinking cap on as I would be totally out of my comfort zone. A lot of duo work I see has a very male gaze to it. And I wanted my take on it to be very far removed from that!

So I looked for really good examples of duo fashion, which was what we would be shooting and looking at elevated editorial examples. I found enough ideas to send to the models for them to also give some thought as to how they might style themselves.

One look they came up with was this set - Amanda had made these waistcoats from men's ties. In fairness I'd seen the idea a few times across social media, but with our setting of La Maison de Maitre I figured we could give this a decent editorial spin.
