Irina and her creative urges
Shooting update
Oh, today will be a good day as I'm at Basford once more, for a full day of creative exploration with art model, Kayla. We first encountered one another in Scotland last year. I enjoyed myself so much I had to work with her again. Fortunately, she was happy to, and so we get a full day to maximise the potential of Basford as a location!

Today's content
For content today, we're back at my home studio of Silkwood and my second shoot with Irina (Arrina Roawr). After a successful shoot last October, when Irina reached back out to say she was back in the UK, it was an easy decision to say yes.
Working multiple times with models always seems to enhance the output. There's less getting to know one another, more diving deeper into the work. More freedom to explore and less fear of failure.

I'm a big believer in letting models do their thing on shoots. I want to be surprised, and hate placing controls of how the shoot should proceed. Some of my best images have come from the pursuit of experimentation and "what if we just tried" moments.

This set was one such moment. I'd basically given Irina free rein after supplying a mood board with some ideas. We'd rattled through those, and she spotted these old dining chairs and angle poise lamp that the studio had lying around.
She suggested we use them, and always game for a different look, I didn't hesitate in agreeing. She came back out a little later in the outfit you see. And away we got to work the idea.
There are another 32 images in the set, and you will need to be a subscriber to see them.
