But that's all for another day. Today, we're going back to my last trip to France and one of the many shoots I had during that trip. I was introduced to Kelvin, by Catalina, whom I shot on my first French trip, last year.

Catalina ended up being a wonderful advocate for me with local Toulousian models. In the end, she hooked me up with 3 more models for this last trip. She has already featured on the blog:

Kelvin is from Colombia and on a study visa in Toulouse. Quite new to modelling but hell she is arresting in her naturalness.

She arrived with little to no makeup and tried to explain she wasn't good at makeup. I reassured her that she was fine as she was, and we'd figure it all out.

And so we got to shooting with smatterings of English and Spanish we muddled through. Then her friend Gabi arrived with some false nails, part way through the first look. Thankfully, she stayed and was a godsend with her help with translations. Kelvin definitely relaxed some more with Gabi around. She certainly took the stress of not being able to communicate fully away!
