A quick hop across the channel to the city of love and my enlightening shoot with Amedea. A very experienced model, sometime photographer and mentor/tutor.
This was one of a series of shoots in the AirBnB I'd rented about a 20 minute wolk from Gare du Nord. On this, my last day in Paris, Amedea was shoot 5 of 6 shoots that day. I do like to pack them in when travelling. Whilst most of the shoots that day had been portfolio builders for the models, this shoot allowed me to get more creative. We were able to explore ideas, lighting solutions and generally just feel our way around the image making process.
Models like Amedea are not cheap, but like any craftsperson, you're not even really paying for their time. More their experience and how much more you can get achieved in the time that you have commissioned.
With portfolio building models a significant chunk of time is spent guiding, directing and assisting them to pick up good habits for their future career. With an experienced model it's usually nearly all about diving deep into the desired looks and aesthetics and just cracking on with making images.
There are 44 images in this glorious ambient lit mono fashion/fashion nude set. All available to subscribers.
