Naked Soul

Well it's Friday, again, so that means it's the time of the week for another Viewing Room exclusive.

Today we go back to May of this year when Nikita (Naked Soul) travelled to Yorkshire to shoot with me for an extended period at Silkwood Studio.

I'd been aware of Nikita for a while and had enquired about her Europe availability for my various trips but schedules and locations didn't align. As always with these things, I never try to force a shoot as I'm a big believer in these things align when they're meant to.

And so it was a few months later that Nikita reached out to say she was going to be in the UK when I was also around. Whilst she was predominantly based in the Midlands for her time here, she was happy to jump on a train and come to Yorkshire.

And so it was we spent a few hours dedicated to trying to create something artistic and beautiful. There are 40 images in this monochromatic art nude set that seeks to explore the contrasts and shadows and shapes that Nikita thoughtfully and artfully placed on this posing block.
