Shooting update

It's been a very busy year, and almost subconsciously, I seem to have managed to arrange shoots with people I've wanted to work with for years. And this week is no exception, with a full day over at Basford with Swedish legend, Sigrife. With a house, private woodland and a fully equipped studio to play with, and a whole 8 hours to go at, I'm raring to go and create some amazing art with this one of a kind model.

And it's another European model featured today. Over my previous Euro trips, Polly would pop up in casting call applications, and we never quite managed to make things work. However, when one of my originally booked models backed out the week before, Polly stepped up, and we arranged for an evening shoot at my Paris Airbnb.

Europe offers so much choice when it comes to models. From country residents, through touring models from neighbouring countries and many displaced Ukrainian models.

Polly is one such emigré. It is a privilege to work with so many diverse nationalities, both at home and abroad. I'm always fascinated by their backstories and their hopes, fears and ambitions.
