Shooting update

Well, what a month March was, with another successful European trip undertaken, 17 shoots across 5 filled days and 4 UK shoots. This month there's another 14 shoots to look forward to. These include an apocalytpic shoot location, an overnight to London, and Two more portfolio days. The first of which is next week.

Today's content

Today, though, we're Berlin bound again and the final shoot from my time in Germany's capital.

Claire (Rebirth of the Bird) and I had tried to make a shoot happen a couple of times in her native Toulouse over the last couple of years. However, our schedules had meant she was never there when I was, and vice versa. Eventually, though, we got to make it work.

Claire is renowned for her emotive imagery, using it as a carthartic process for her unloading of whatever emotions are coursing through her at the time. At least that's how I understand her approach.

She was a revelation, though. Similar to Stephanie Dubois, in that she totally transforms in front of camera. From petite, softly spoken French woman to commanding, larger than life presence on set, at once full of power, yearning, and je ne sais quoi. It's a powerful thing to be privileged to try to capture with some form of capability. All this whilst desiring death core metal as her soundtrack.
