Strap in

Slight change to the schedule today and the weekly post is a day early. That's because starting tomorrow, I'm running a week-long look back over the year and sharing images from every shoot. Some have been featured, some will showcase images yet to appear on the site and many will feature, in more depth, during 2026.

We'd had a little back and forth a month or so ago but couldn't make dates and logistics work. Then I saw a casting on Purpleport and a local studio was trying to make a booking work for them, but needed another shoot to make it worth Irina's time to travel to Yorkshire.

Within a few emails, I'd manage to arrange a 2-hour shoot with her, and away we went.

Knowing I was flying early doors the next day on a shoot-filled trip to France, I needed to shoot early afternoon. Fortunately, Ian, our host, and Irina were able to make that work.

So as the weather started to turn I arrived at Ian's studio in an industrial complex in Brighouse, Yorkshire.

Irina had arrived a little earlier than planned and was pretty much ready to go.

With a few pleasantries exchanged and a quick run through of wardrobe choices, we got to work.
