Elena comes to the rescue
Shooting update
It feels weird to not be shooting 2 - 3 times a week, currently, but the shoot with Irina on Tuesday was it now until after Easter. Then there's another portfolio day in the offing. So editing the Paris images it is then!
My youngest is weighing up her options for after her exams and has expressed an interest in photography, so I think the Easter holidays will be a mix of decorating her bedroom and giving her some basics of photography.
Today's content
In previous years, I hadn't really had to deal with last-minute cancellations and drop-outs, but this year it has been more noticeable. I put this largely down to shooting a lot more. Statistically, it's just bound to happen.
And so it was that Elena and I came to work together in Berlin. As I mentioned at the time, as I was sat at Stansted Airport on the way out to Berlin, I had 2 models drop out of the same day. Leaving me with potentially 7 hours of empty studio time.

Brazilian dancer, Maria, saved my afternoon bacon, and Elena (models as Olena Krasnokutska) rescued some of my evening. What was nice about both shoots is they had none of the usual planning of looks and mood boards. Elena did ask for some idea, so I hastily put a Pinterest board together.
She arrived on time, with a good set of choices and today, I'm sharing the last set we did. This made use of the studio's fabulous red velour sofa.

There are 30 images in total in this set, so for the rest of them you need to be a subscriber. Sign up, for free, to continue viewing.
