Shooting update

Today I'm prepping for a bit of a whistlestop trip to the capital. Heading down tomorrow morning with a half-day shoot with Alyssa Taylor in the afternoon. An overnight stay and then three shoots on Saturday before heading back to base.
Shooting with a Sicilian, a Colombian and English model with a range of experience and levels, so will be good to see what we end up with!

Today's content

Today we head back to January of this year, and the time Aurora (models as Poetic Minx) and I met and shot at Silkwood for a chilly half day.

Some shoots are planned months in advance, but this was more of a chance encounter. Aurora had posted a casting on a model site I use, and I thought, why not. Time from casting to shoot was about 4 days.

Pre-shoot comms were straightforward, and we quickly aligned on shoot aesthetics. Again, this is one of the benefits of working with experienced models. They're so adept at getting concepts and ideas and running with them.

This was the final look of the shoot, and we'd already run a gamut of portraits, fashion and lingerie looks, mixing studio and natural light sources.
