What's Coming Up

I normally split the look ahead update into two posts, but let's try showcasing the whole month in one post - which means more actual posts packed with shoot content for you all.

But first, a look back.

June ended up being busier than I expected. I've been starting to run out of people I would justify spending money on over on Purpleport. Having shot with Irida at the very beginning of the month, my next paid shoot isn't until September with the awesome Ashleigh Rae.

Some of this is purely down to finances. They're finite and mine have pretty much run out when it comes to financing shoots. So I had to get creative. I'm relaunching my actor and business headshot activities, and this provided some opportunities for trade shoots during June.

The wife attended Capital Crime in London, as you'll know if you were following the posts in June. I managed to arrange 6 shoots across 2 days whilst there and worked with a variety of models and actors shooting and battling harsh lighting in a very warm London! I also chalked up 30+ miles across 3 days. No wonder I was knackered when we got back to Leeds.

The month of July

Shoot wise, July is a little quieter but, so far, I've got 4 more actor shoots lined up to provide a little more marketing material. I'm also following Joel Grimes and his approach to fine art still lifes, so plans are afoot to have a dabble and experiment there as well.

But what about the models, I hear you cry! Well, here's what's in store for the rest of this month.

We kick things off tomorrow with another visit to the shoot with Mia Resa and this awesome floral lingerie set.

Speaking of Irida, Friday brings the first set from that shoot, a 25 image mono-extravagnaza of a superb art nude model making free with kraft paper.

Another shoot from this year was the second meeting of myself and Ivory Flame, at the start of the Euro road trip. This alternative fashion set has Elizabethan Fashion vibes...

From there, we hop over to Belgium and a luxurious lingerie set shot with Olive at Raf's fab Zilverbeek Studio.

Then, we fast-forward a couple of days and the smorgasbord of creativity that was the final shoot of that trip with Russian emigré, Christall. This is her take on bubble wrap fashion...

To close out the first half of the month, we're back in the UK and a shoot from late last year with the wonderful Italian model, Lenza.

Power boosting us into the latter half of July is this vibrant fashion nude set with Marie-Jean Saxton, our first shoot together in 8 years!

Then we jump in the hot tub time machine (must watch that at some point) to the time Cher travelled down from Fife for a day of graft, and cracking images. These were our take on art nude.

Keeping on the film theme, we then jump right back into the present day and a shoot with a model and actor who gained the rare distinction of an acting credit (as an extra) in the new Danny Boyle film, 28 Years Later. A flowing funky fashion set with Helen, who models as Bald, Brave and Beautiful.

From there we skip back in time, once more, to this fab leotard set with NG Barbi and the white chair.

We're almost at the end of July now, and we go back to my first shoot back after a long break. And the time I headed to the capital and shot with Verena, in North London.

Over to Oldham for our penultimate set of the month and this domme-esque inspired look shot, natural light, with Rio Corlett

And to end things, we keep up the bold looks with a final trawl through the archives and the fab and slightly out there styling of Keira Lavelle.

The sales pitch
