With Stripes from Denmark
When a Brit and a Dane clashed in Ireland

This year, I've travelled a fair bit for my art. Of course, there was the 7 shoot 5 day extravaganza across Northern Europe. There have been trips to London and Edinburgh.
At the end of May I hopped across the Irish Sea to Belfast for the day to work with Regina Piil, a well-known (on the freelance model circuit) Danish model who is very much in demand. So much so, that I completely missed the mainland leg of her tour and so had to make arrangements to get to Belfast to make a shoot happen. This one day was her only availability before heading south of the border to the Republic of Ireland to do a duo tour with Emma Helena.
Whilst that was also a possibility, having worked recently with Emma on my European trip, I felt working solo with Regina was right for me this time around.
Belfast isn't particularly known as a modelling hotspot, so I had a choice of 2 studios and settled on Catchlight Studios, just off The Falls Road. Brendan, the owner, was great in his comms, even meeting me at the studio to give me a run-down. This despite him having a commercial shoot for Tesco that morning.
Anyway, with Regina arrived, and us both caffeinated, we got to work. This is the first of 11 looks we shot in an extended shoot (6 hours). We worked at a decent pace, but not so quick as to not be able to explore the possibilities with each set up.
There are 20 images in this set, which are available to supporters on any tier. Which means Atrium tier supporters also have access to these images, and that tier is free of charge. So why not sign up below?
